Red Dot is proud to support the Shenton Park Dogs’ Refuge Home as its Charity Partner for August.

The Dogs’ Refuge Home was opened in October 1935 and is one of the oldest animal welfare organisations in Australia. More than 88 years on, the Home is still saving more than 1,500 dogs in need every year.

They have a Pro-Life Policy enshrined in their Constitution. They do not euthanise healthy animals because it is strongly believed that all dogs deserve a second chance. They take a ‘no time limit’ approach and are dedicated to providing the best care and support to the dogs in kennel or foster care until a loving forever home can be found.

The Dogs’ Refuge Home not only takes in dogs from all over metropolitan Perth, they also work with local governments and other rescue groups to bring in unwanted dogs from around the state to give them a second chance at a happy life.

Without the generous support of the community and donations from dog loving people and businesses, they would not be able to provide the vital care needed to look after all the dogs that pass through their gates. Your donations in store during August will go directly toward helping to rescue and re-home these beautiful dogs. You can also support their work by adopting, fostering or volunteering.
