Charity Partner for July: Red Nose
Every month Red Dot supports a local charity. This month we are proud to partner with Red Nose.
2024 sees the annual Red Nose Day celebrate its 36th Birthday! Since 1988, this amazing cause has helped see incredible gains made to reduce sudden infant deaths in Australia and around the world.
Red Nose Day sparked a global movement and catalysed research into the reasons why babies die suddenly in their sleep.
Despite this significant inroads made, the fight continues and research shows that more than a third of new parents don’t know how to safely sleep their baby. With 300,000 babies born each year and 180,000 first time parents its vital the education around SIDS continues.
Whilst Friday 9th August is the official Red Nose Day, throughout July you can donate in-store at any of our Red Dot and Red Dot Home stores.
$45 can help keep a baby safe by funding a call to the Safe Sleep Advice Line by an anxious new parent, $80 can provide immediate support for a grief-stricken family in crisis through the 24/7 support line and $128 can fund a hospital discharge pack with all the tools a new parent needs.
100% of all funds received in store are donated to Red Nose Australia.
Please see in-store for more details or speak to our friendly Red Dot team.
