Crazy Shaving Cream Marble Paintings
Have you ever seen stunning marbled paintings on social media and wondered how it’s done? We’ve got an amazingly easy and super effective technique to share. You won’t believe how simple it is to create seriously beautiful marble paintings with everyday household items, Red Dot art supplies and your creative spark.
What you’re going to need:
- Signature Watercolour Paints
- Thick Art Paper
- Palette Knife
- Shaving Cream (the super foamy kind)
- A shallow baking tray
- Liquid droppers
- Sheet of thick cardboard
How you’re going to do it:
- Fill the bottom of your baking tray with foam
- Mix up some bright paints – you want your watercolours to be fairly watery
- Droplet splashes of paint onto the shaving cream
- Mix it around with your palette knife to create a swirling look
- Gently press your sheet of paper onto the surface of the colourful shaving cream.
- Gently lift it up and use the cardboard to wipe the cream off the surface of the paper
- Voila! Your beautiful marbled painting will emerge. Hang it up to dry and start over with new colours.

Stunning Modern-Inspired Credit Card Paintings
Have you got old plastic gift vouchers or loyalty cards lying around the house? Instead of getting rid of them, grab them out for this cool geometric craft project idea.
What you’re going to need:
- Signature Acrylic Paints 12 Set (or any individual Acrylic Paint)
- Easy Clean Palette
- Double Thick Canvas
- Plastic cards
How you’re going to do it:
- Mix up the paint into bright desired colours
- Space a few blobs of paint a few centimetres apart on the canvas
- Use the plastic cards to drag the paint around to create geometric patterns
- Done! Hang your painting up to dry and start over.
